COMPANY OVERVIEW

Monark is a live, interactive, data-driven development and performance optimization platform designed specifically for busy middle managers and new leaders. At Monark, we combine the power of a digital platform with live mastery sessions to deliver personalized, high-impact learning experiences at scale. We make it easy for leaders to engage in development regularly and consistently.

Most leaders begin managing people at the age of 30 but often won’t receive any leadership training until 42, meaning we have a 12 year training gap that traditional high-touch leadership development can’t solve. With ongoing, accessible development occurring within guided cohorts, Monark provides a white glove experience without the price tag, i.e. leadership development for everyone else.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Product Analyst with a strong background in product and data analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in analyzing data to derive insights related to product performance and using these insights to make recommendations that support the delivery of the product vision and roadmap.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring product performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending updates or new features based on data insights. You will gather and analyze customer feedback through surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groups. Additionally, you will create reporting processes, share data findings and insights, and present these findings to senior management.

You will serve as a critical link between the product owner (CSO) and the Development team, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood by all stakeholders and reflected in day-to-day product decisions and priorities.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS/IS:

  • A thorough understanding of the product management lifecycle, from conception, to launch, and beyond.

  • Proficient data analytical skills, with the capability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decisions.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective distillation of data insights into actionable recommendations.

  • A strong passion for technology and entrepreneurship, coupled with a desire to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

  • Previous experience working within a technology start-up is preferred, although not required.

  • Previous product management experience is a valuable asset.

  • Experience with SQL, Excel, and QuickSight are desirable.

  • Familiarity with Figma is considered a valuable asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to derive critical insights focused on product performance and user experience. This may involve conducting in-depth interviews with customers, facilitating focus groups, and creating surveys to gather feedback on specific product-related issues.

  • Support the Chief Science Officer (CSO) in providing direction and guidance to the development team on product priorities. Ensure that business requirements and acceptance criteria are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to validate product functionality and ensure it meets user needs and expectations.

  • Establish and maintain a product analytics dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs), user engagement metrics, and other relevant data points. Utilize this dashboard to provide insights that inform strategic product decisions.

  • Attend daily Stand Up and bi-weekly Sprint Planning sessions to ensure the product vision is reflected in the development priorities.

  • Assist with UI/UX design efforts as needed, contributing to the creation of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.

OTHER DETAILS & BENEFITS

  • We have a big vision to be THE leadership development solution for organizations globally, and right now there is an opportunity to join us in the early stages of this journey.

  • We practice what we preach: we regularly engage in learning and reflection, and we embrace a feedback and accountability-driven culture.

  • We work incredibly hard, but we also like to have fun, and are always sure to carve out time for team building opportunities and activities.
